Lake County is currently searching for a volunteer for the Lake County Board of Adjustment. The Board of Adjustment is comprised of five volunteers who hear and decide zoning related issues such as conditional land uses, variance requests, and citizen appeals. Board members work closely with Lake County Planning Department staff and have the opportunity to interpret and apply zoning regulations to make them work for the citizens of Lake County. The Board of Adjustment usually meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 4 p.m. at the Lake County Courthouse in Polson. Meetings generally last between one and three hours.
