NORTH CROW — A one-vehicle wreck on North Crow Road left a male teenager injured on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
The Ronan Volunteer Fire Department, Salish and Kootenai Tribal Police and Ronan Ambulance responded to the call after a passerby called law enforcement agencies.
According to authorities, the driver and only occupant of the 2004 Dodge Durango was driving too fast on the gravel road and lost control of the vehicle, skidding 60 feet before rolling into a nearby field.
The driver managed to make his way to the roadside and flag down a passing vehicle before collapsing.
The vehicle was overturned when emergency crews arrived. Ronan Fire Chief Mark Clary noted that the vehicle was totaled.
CSKT Police Officer Tony Adams reported that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the wreck.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to St. Luke Community Hospital, where he was treated and released.
