Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases during the week of Nov. 1 through 5:
Cedric Jaylin Russell, 18, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license expired more than 180 days, was found guilty and was fined $100 plus court costs of $35.
Brian Keith Mitchell, 22, pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08% BAC or greater, first offense. Mitchell was found guilty, was fined $400 plus court costs of $85 and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
Brent Michael Lemler, 21, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, expired less than 180 days. Lemler was found guilty and was fined $100 plus $35 court costs.
Donald Ray McLeod, 25, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without liability insurance in effect, first offense, was found guilty and was fined $150 plus court costs of $35.
McLeod also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked, was found guilty, was fined 250 plus $3 court costs and was sentenced to 180 days jail with 173 days suspended. If McLeod provided proof of a valid driver’s license by Dec. 3, jail time will be waived.
