POLSON — Marine veteran Chuck Lewis presented a program on American flag etiquette and flag facts for Wolf Cub Scouts Pack 4947 on Dec. 2. After the PowerPoint, Lewis and Marvin Matson, another Marine, divided the boys into groups of two and gave a hands-on lesson in folding the American flag. With 17 Cub Scouts, parents and Scout Masters, the Polson City Commissioners Chambers was crowded.

Scout Alex Muzquiz said he learned some facts about the flag, and Trae Wyman noted it was hard to fold the flag without it touching the ground. Scouts not taking their turn folding a flag labelled popcorn for donation to the Loaves and Fish Food Bank and snacked.
