POLSON — The Polson Senior Center would like to thank Farmers Insurance for the $1500 donation from the Senior Golf Tournament held in May. Local agent Tracy Dooley did a wonderful job and we can’t thank him enough. This money will go a long way to help with every day needs here at the center. Also, thank you to all who golfed.  I’m sure that everyone had a good time.  Once again, thank you.

The AARP Driving Class will be held here at the center on Tuesday, June 18. The class starts promptly at 9 a.m. and finishes at about 2:30- 3 p.m. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 if you aren’t a member. It was reported in another article this class would take place around the first part of June; this is wrong.  This is the class that Clara Sipe teaches and it is every other month on the third Tuesday of that month. If you are interested in taking this class, please give us a call at (406) 883-4735 and we’ll get you on the list. We are sorry for any confusion.

Has anyone out there lost a set of car keys? We found some about a week or two ago here in our dining room and thought that someone would call and claim them. If you lost a set, or know of someone that did, please give us a call at (406) 883-4735 to see if they are yours.

I hope that you all have a really great week and remember, those sun- shiny days are just around the corner.

Bridge scores for May 24 were: Paul Doolittle was first and Bennye Kingsley was second and on May 27 Paul Doolittle was first and Ruth Baer was second. Pinochle scores for May 30 had Carol Daniels first and Grace Schumacher second.  It is so nice to have the pinochle players back again.
