POLSON — Seniors Helping Seniors was the tag line for this year’s 4th annual Farmers Insurance Senior Open golf tournament held May 18 and 19 at Polson Bay Golf Course.
Tracy Dooley, local Farmers Insurance agent and tournament chairman, reported that 51 senior players age 50 and older teed it up for two days of golf and raised $1,524.00 for the Polson Senior Citizens Center.
Dooley would like to thank all those that contributed making it a very successful event.
Tournament champions this year were: Jim VanFossen of Missoula, men’s senior champion; Cindy Templer, women’s senior champion; Jim Seals, super senior champion.
