Shirley Winfree
ST. IGNATIUS – Shirley Winfree, 81, passed away Dec. 29 in Ronan.
Born Feb. 2, 1929 in Ronan, to Claude and Kate Whittekiend, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, parents and stepmother, sister Reathel Lehl, three stepbrothers and a stepsister.
She is survived by two sons Wesley Dutt (Shirley) and Lynn Dutt (Caren); stepsons Vern Jr. Winfree (Pam) and Dorsey Winfree (Cathy), four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters Ayleen Schliep Bain of St. Ignatius, Lois Goodwin of Seattle and Cleo Webb (John) of Homer, Alaska, many nieces, nephews and friends.
A service was held Jan. 1 at the Mission Valley United Methodist Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Quincy, Wash.
