Kids, pets parade in Polson

POLSON — Area children brushed and dressed up their pets — dogs, bunnies, a pony and even a heifer — for a special parade held at noon June 28 before the first performance of the Mission Mountain NRA rodeo.
Kids who participated with their pets received a free ticket to the rodeo, and most of the youngsters were all about going to the rodeo.
Most of the kids polled liked bull riding, but a couple of girls wanted to see the barrel racing. Several kids were going to watch their dads and or moms compete or to ride in the mutton bustin.’
