Dennis Paulson

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Beloved son, father, husband and grandpa Dennis Paulson, 70, passed away in his home in Colorado Springs, Colo., Sunday, July 28, 2013, with his wife Georgia by his side. Dennis was born in Havre on Nov. 18, 1942, to LeRoy and Genevieve Paulson, the third of four children. He was raised in Chinook, graduating in 1961. Dennis married Moselle DePriest in 1963 and to this union they were blessed with two daughters, Kris and Annie. The family moved to the farm in Polson in 1976 and lived there until Dennis and Moselle later divorced. 

Dennis met and married Georgia Paulson in Bigfork in 1993. He gained two grown stepchildren from this union, Cathy and Alan. Dennis and Georgia moved to Colorado Springs in 1999 where they lived until the time of his passing.

Dennis loved camping, hunting, and being with his children and grandchildren. Dennis built many beautiful custom homes from Billings to Bigfork through the years and later enjoyed making wooden toys for his grandchildren. He made dollhouses for his girls and apartment complexes for his parents and lots of other projects in between. 

Dennis is preceded in death by his father LeRoy Paulson and nephews Terry and Timmy Berger. He is survived by his mother Genevieve Paulson and three sisters Rogene (Bob) Bouley of Billings, Marilyn (Donny) Berger of Chinook and Charlene (Jim) Lewis of Colorado. Dennis is also survived by his daughters Kris (Jack) Nordberg of Polson, Annie (Ben) Binger of McLean Virginia and his stepchildren Cathy (Doug) Thayer of Omaha, Neb. and Alan Spencer of Colorado Springs. Dennis is loved by his grandchildren: Beau and Ansley Nordberg; Holden, Sam and Maizy Binger; Emily, Laura, Anna, Maggie, Mark, Greg, Lilly and Grace Thayer.
