Editor,

In my opinion, it’s hard to believe that a Montana Legislator, Dan Salomon, would use a huge column in the paper as a bully pulpit to personally attack a citizen who attempted to present some of the flaws in the Water Compact. Isn’t he supposed to listen to and represent his constituents? Instead he’s done what I have never seen another legislator do, personally go after someone by using their name eight times in his spin machine, talking points, personal attack, public, hit piece, response. Because he singled out one person by name, numerous times in his article, it came across as intimidation, and did little more than attempt to stifle, rather than add to the water compact debate.
