POLSON — Films are now being accepted for consideration to the Flathead Lake International Cinemafest (FLIC) to be held Jan. 24-26, 2014, in Polson.
Films of all genres can be submitted through the FLIC website www.flicpolson.com or Withoutabox site at www.withoutabox.com. Early submission deadline is Sept. 30, 2013, and the late deadline is Oct. 31, 2013, with the exception of FLIC JR. with submissions due Dec. 1, 2013. Submission fees and details can be viewed at www.flicpolson.com under the film-submission tab.
FLIC JR. is a film competition for students 18 years and under. All submitted films will be juried by a panel of judges made up of experts within the field of film and local community members. Films selected to be part of the festival will be showcased during the festival and are eligible to receive “Best Of” awards in several categories.
This is the festival’s second year of presenting a broad slate of domestic and international films. FLIC’s mission statement: provide makers of all film genres a venue through which they enrich themselves and their audiences by engaging with film.
