News from the Tribal Wildland Recreation Program and Tribal Division of Fire

PABLO — Tribal Wildland Recreation Program and Tribal Division of Fire announce the lifting of all trail closures associated with wilderness fires in the Mission Mountains Tribal Wilderness.

The Mission Falls Trail, Post Creek Trail, and Eagle Pass Trail are now open for recreation use.

All tribal wilderness fires were declared out Sept. 24, 2013 at 8 a.m.

While recreating on Tribal lands all forest users are asked to be extra careful when building fires.

For more information about wildland recreation, fire education and prevention contact Les Bigcrane or Ron Swaney at (406) 675-2700.
