As local business owners, we feel the need to write this letter to state our support of mayoral candidate Heather Knutson. Our city needs to have a strong leader and Heather brings experience and qualities that our mayor needs. Heather was born and raised in Polson and she lives and works here. She is dedicated to our community and in helping Polson grow in a positive way for everyone here. She is the general manager for Country Foods, and was the Polson Chamber President in 2012. She’s very involved in community service, and is a board member of the Mission Valley Animal Shelter.
Heather does not have an agenda and has the ability to see both sides of an issue and bring about compromise to move forward. In our opinion that is an essential quality of leadership.
Our city has come a long way in the last couple of years and we feel very strongly that Heather is the best candidate to continue that forward movement.
