ARLEE – The Scarlets showed they would not just give up without a fight, beating Hot Springs 3-0 at home on Thursday.

Scarlet junior Violet Pablo led her team with two aces, three digs, and eight kills and senior Bailey Rice had 11 of the Scarlets 18 assists.

Saturday brought the Scarlets to Charlo, and though they dropped one, they played tough and showed a fierce battle stance in the 1-3 game while keeping the Lady Vikings on their toes in each set.

Senior Alexis Shick came away with 11 kills and four blocks while Pablo took the lead once again at the line with five aces and also dove for seven digs.

The Scarlets will play at home this next week hosting St. Regis Oct. 17 and Victor Oct 19.
