Justice of the peace Chuck Wall heard the following cases from Sept. 10-16:

Roxanna Dennison, 49, pleaded not guilty to criminal mischief. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs. Dennison also pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, first offense. She was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended. She was fined an additional $400 plus another $85 in court costs.

Brook Anna Hovland-Burrington, 28, pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle with concentration of .08% BAC or greater - second offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 30 days in jail with 25 suspended and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.

Trent J. Metzger, pleaded not guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in for court costs. 

Also, Metzger pleaded guilty to careless driving, was found guilty and fined $95 plus $35 in court costs.

Joanna L. Buck, 35, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 in jail with 178 days suspended. The court waived two days in jail and reinstated her driver’s license. She was also fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Todd A. Cook, 36, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Cook also pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08% BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty, fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

Roberta M. Watson, 41, pleaded not guilty to unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway. She was found guilty and fined $135. She also pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08% BAC or greater, first offense. She was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all suspended. Watson was also fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

Allena H. Roberts, 26, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Marilyn G. Choice, 56, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 8 suspended. If she provides proof of six months continual insurance on March 7, 2011, then the fine will be reduced by $100 and jail time will be waived.

Ronald S. Ouellette, 47, pleaded guilty of driving without a valid driver’s license, expired less than 180 days. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.

Lee Seifert, 59, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.

Jeffrey L. Jennison, 21, pleaded guilty for failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. If Jennison provides proof of valid insurance by Oct. 6 and proof of six month continuous insurance, the fine will be reduced y $100 and jail waived.

Justin Poyner, 26, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs. Poyner also pleaded guilty to obstructing justice. He was found guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined and additional $100 plus $85 in court costs. In addition, Poyner pleaded guilty to three charges of improper passing in a no-passing zone. He was found guilty of all three charges, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended (for each charge) and fined a total of $150 plus $105 in court costs.

Shirley Stafford Boyer, 59, pleaded guilty for failing to drive to right of roadway except when passing. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
