Editor,
If you have not been to the Polson Farmers’ Market, you are missing one of the best and well-planned events of the week. Located on Third Avenue West in front of the Cove Deli and First Citizens Bank, it is open on Fridays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Vendors offer the most delicious fruits, veggies, pastries, breads, arts and crafts around. Take it from one who spends a wad of the green every week. Thanks to all who support this great market which allows folks to visit and enjoy the fruits (oops) of the labors of those dedicated to the work in the soil which they undoubtedly love. It is evident in what they offer to those who do not garden and want to enjoy the products which have the freshness that can only come about from the earth to the market. Weather may hamper attendance, as it did the 17th, but there are some Fridays left, so get out there and support these fine folks. Eat more eggplant. Yeah, cabbage. Go for the carrots. Good Eats.
