As the anniversary of 9/11 passes, I’d like to offer heartfelt gratitude to all our emergency responders and the courageous citizen heroes of flight 93 ... the police and firemen who ran in to the burning buildings, the 911 dispatchers who helped coordinate and who comforted those trapped souls.
I will never forget that day, where I was, or those brave heroes who gave their lives in the protection of their fellow Americans.
While thinking about 9/11 and the horrific events of that day, I considered for a while; the citizens of flight 93 knew the target would possibly be the capitol building. They acted in order to save lives on the ground. Do you think our senators would have done the same thing for them, or us?
