FRENCHTOWN — The Polson High School Speech and Debate team attended the Frenchtown Invitational Speech and Drama meet on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Placers for PHS were:
1st Place, Policy Debate: Tommy Mercer and Sam Heutmaker
6th Place, Policy Debate: Annabelle Smith and Katie Stobie
4th Place, Lincoln-Douglas Debate: Jacob Raymond
7th Place, Humorous Oral Interpretation: Clara Siegelin
5th Place, Serious Oral Interpretation: Kania Smith
7th Place, Serious Oral Interpretation: Lindy Rutledge
4th Place, Serious Oral Interpretation: Jordan Broussard
8th Place, Impromptu Speaking: Kania Smith
4th Place, Memorized Public Address: Kylie Koberg
8th Place, Memorized Public Address: Hannah Hodges
Team Sweeps winners were:
Class A Speech: Columbia Falls with Polson placing second.
Class A Drama: Frenchtown
Class B Speech: Loyola
Class B Drama: Bigfork
