RONAN — The 10th annual Ronan Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be on Thursday, Nov. 28 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center.

It started small 10 years ago and has grown, bringing people together for a time of friendship, food, music and fun. Each year, the celebration draws several hundred residents, coming to share conversation, homemade pie and the chance to recognize the good that has come into their lives. Dinner is free but volunteers and cooks are needed.

Although the Ronan Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the dinner, supplies and all the fixings come from donors throughout the area. The Lake County Commissioners provide the facility at no charge.

Festivities for the day include entertainment and a traditional Turkey Dinner. Volunteers are needed to help serve, cook, buss and clean up. Turkeys, pies, and rolls, are also needed. Call Cheri Houle at (406) 249-3184 to donate food and Brandy Chisholm at (406) 676-3300 to volunteer some time.

Everyone is welcome to attend and the dinner is free. Donations will be gladly accepted at the door or may be sent to Ronan Community Volunteers, PO Box 751 Pablo, MT 59855.
