Polson 'Community Dinner’ donations needed, appreciated

POLSON — We have gotten some food donations for the Community Dinner and if you would like to donate a pie, salad or rolls, please give us a call. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
One of our faithful drivers for our home delivered meals is leaving us until next March and we would like to thank him for all the time and effort he has put into our nutrition program. I know the clients he delivers to will miss him also. We wish him a very safe trip and look forward to seeing in the spring.
We would like to wish one of our board members, Pete Daniels, a speedy recovery and hope that he is up and around real soon.
Just a friendly reminder that our See’s Candies are in and are going fast so if you would like to get a box or two, stop in at the center and we’ll get you taken care of. They are $17 for a one-pound box and you have a choice of “Nuts and Chews” or “Assorted.”
That white stuff is really trying to make a showing so dress warm and be careful of the ice; it can really sneak up on you. Until next week, “think sunshine.”
Bowling Scores for this week are: high men’s scratch series - Don Young with 714; high women’s scratch series with 673 is Cris Alter; and high scratch games were Don Young with 300 and Cris Alter with 254; high handicap games were Don Young 741, Cris Alter 673, Jesse Barry 659, Brenda Williams 661, Jack Adamson 661, Ray Theiler 656, Frani Basta 601 and Jim Funke 600.
We serve lunch from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

• Friday, Nov. 15: enchilada
• Monday, Nov. 18: navy bean soup
• Tuesday, Nov. 19: hamburger steak
• Wednesday, Nov. 20: pork chops
