Elmo candidates face off Saturday for general election

PABLO — According to the by-laws and constitution of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, a primary election run-off for Elmo District Tribal Council Candidates Reuben A. Mathias and Len Two Teeth will be held this Saturday, Nov. 16.

Both Two Teeth and Mathias received 280 votes. The candidate receiving the most votes in the run-off election will go on to oppose Junior Caye in the general election.

Polling sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Polling sites are the Tribal Complex, Dixon Senior Center, Hot Springs Indian Senior Citizen Center, Arlee Indian Senior Citizen Center, Polson Indian Senior Citizen Center, Ronan Indian Senior Citizen Center, St. Ignatius Indian Senior Citizen Center and Elmo Community Center.
