Editor,

I am continually amazed when members of our society clearly believe our constitution can be avoided with carefully chosen ideas representing delusions of grandeur.

A realtor says everyone get in the Unconstitutional boat with us and you can get out, if you choose, just before it goes over Niagara Falls (State water court) which he chooses not to acknowledge.

A local farmer says everyone in western Montana should agree to protect our consensual agreement for my family’s high flow Ag wells while we give away your private property, water rights to the Tribes.

A retired irrigator says anyone who wasn’t born here or doesn’t agree with me is an Anti-government activist and shouldn’t have a voice or opinion.

An ex-con says Michael Gale has no business having an opinion on anything.

All of them believe that no one else besides them should have a voice in the disposition of our personal, private, property rights or the protection of our constitutional rights or the spending of our tax monies.

This Compact is not supposed to quantify irrigator water rights, it is supposed to quantify the “Federally Reserved Water Rights necessary to fulfill the purpose of the Flathead Reservation.” When do you figure that’s going to happen? After they steal all of our rights to private property?

Can it be stated any more clearly? Can we get all the little lost sheep back in the pasture and back on track? Can we stop arguing over points that are not part of the discussion but meant only to distract us? Is the “Fear and Smear” campaign over yet? I personally don’t fear you and you can’t smear my name with your muddy paint brush — the truth will continue to climb up out of the muck and shine like a beacon for those willing to look at it; truth — points of fact, points of law.
