One hundred plus turnout for Ronan Senior Thanksgiving meal

RONAN — We had a wonderful turnout for our Thanksgiving dinner on Wednesday, and would like to thank all who joined us. We served a total of 110 people; 89 people ate here at the center and 25 meals were home delivered. Our cooks did a great job, again and their hard work was greatly appreciated.
The card players met here on Nov. 18 with 10 people present. Grace Ingraham had the high score, Rex Sand had the low score, Ruby Mocabee had the most pinochles and Phil grant won the door prize. They will meet here again at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 16.
Our condolences go to the Bob Engels family. Bob’s wife Leoba passed away last week. All who knew her will miss her.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, we will be closed on Thursday and Friday of this week and since we are closed on Friday, the November birthday dinner has been moved to Friday, Dec.6. We hope to see all of you then.
Our monthly board meeting will be on Monday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m.
We will have our Thursday night meal on Dec. 12 at 5 p.m., and this month we will be serving chicken. This is open to the public and all are invited to join us. The cost of the meal is only $5.
The foot clinic will be on Wednesday, Dec.18, at 1:30 a.m. and that evening is our Christmas dinner and we will serve ham.
We will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wed., Dec. 25, for the Christmas holiday.

• Friday, Dec. 6: roast beef
• Monday, Dec. 9: Salisbury steak
• Wednesday, Dec. 11: sloppy Joes,
• Thursday, Dec. 12: chicken
• Friday, Dec. 13: chicken and dressing
• Monday, Dec.16: spaghetti
• Wednesday, Dec. 18: ham
• Friday, Dec. 20: ham and bean soup
• Mon. Dec. 23: sausage gravy and biscuits
• Wednesday, Dec. 25: we are closed
• Monday, Dec. 30: beef stew and cinnamon rolls
