Library grateful for Pizza Café support

There are a great many generous people and businesses in this valley. The kindness, talent, and giving nature of this small community deserves many “thanks you’s.” But The Friends of the Ronan Library would like to take this moment to give a very special and heartfelt “thank you” to one very special business, The Pizza Cafe, in Ronan.
For the last two years the owner, Burt Cannon, and manager, Shannon Cannon, have helped raise money for the Ronan Library through the Friends group by letting Fridays in May be “Have a Pizza For the Library” month. A percentage of each pizza sold on Fridays during the month of May goes to the Friends. This is definitely a wonderful benefit for both the library and community members, who can enjoy great pizza and support the Friends group at the same time.
This year, Shannon told us that they want to make this a yearly event. Really, there just aren’t enough words to express our gratitude, but we want to let Burt, Shannon and all the staff at The Pizza Cafe know how much we appreciate them. We hope that the community will continue to support this wonderful restaurant throughout the year, and next May, please encourage everyone you know to have pizza on Friday nights.
