Editor,

The placing of blame, oh don’t we love it so. Never do we accept responsibility for our own actions. No, it’s much easier to point and last week there it was again, the finger point.

Forget about truth, honesty, integrity; these words are passé just like the words in our Constitution. To progressives, the agenda is far more important than the truth, and all you need to do is read the recent letter on placing blame. It’s filled with agenda and finger pointing.

Let’s all agree that both political parties are corrupt top down, bottom up; it matters not. Both parties are overflowing with progressives They have the same goal: steal your money, hook you on the government drug called “entitlements,” destroy our republic, remove people from their land, place limits on where you can live, what you can say, what you can eat, how long you can live, how much money you can make, how many children you can have, how productive your farm or ranch will be.

It’s unbelievable when you think about what has happened to this country just since Barack Obama became president. So then, let’s assess blame.

Would it be fair to say the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the citizens of Lake County and the United States? Yes, I think that would be fair. Remember the childhood story about the big bad wolf in sheep’s clothing? It wasn’t a fairy tail. The wolf is in the white house, and his minions are among us. You don’t often get to see them in the open, but now and again you do.
