POLSON — The Community Thanksgiving Dinner was a great success again this year. We had an abundance of volunteers and everything went very smoothly. We would like to thank all of you who contributed to this wonderful event whether it was money, food or your time; we couldn’t have done it without you all. This was truly a community effort and we look forward to doing it again next year.

We still have a table full of bowls, dishes and trays that need to be picked up as soon as possible so nothing happens to them. If you could stop by the center and pick them up, we would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Our See’s Candies have really sold well this year. We only have the assorted variety left. If you need a very nice box of chocolates for someone special, be sure to stop in soon before they are all gone. They are $17 for a one-pound box and worth every penny.

Mary is doing very well and should be back here at the center and hard at work on a quilt in a week or so. It will sure be good to have her back again.

I hope that you are all staying in and keeping warm as the good old Montana weather rears its cold and freezing head. So stay snuggled up to you heaters and think sunshine and 80 degrees.

There wasn’t any Pinochle played because of the holiday but players should be back next week.

Bowling scores for Dec. 3 were: High Women’s Scratch Series - Cris Alter 748; High Men’s Scratch Series - Larry Alter 728; Men’s High Game - Jack Adamson 277 and High Women’s Game - Cris Alter 266; High Handicap Series - Cindy Lawin 757; Cris Alter 748; Larry Alter 734; Jack Adamson 729; Brenda Williams 707 and Jim Funke 707 also.
