Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Nov. 29 to Dec. 5, 2013:
Ted Robert Baker, 46, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation. Baker also forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating a vehicle in unsafe conditions without proper lights/equipment.
Martin William Dunlap, 32, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving. He was found guilty and fined $300 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended.
Brian Leland Hewankorn, 35, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle – owner or operator – first offense. He was fined $285 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
Nicholas Anthony Rangel, 30, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate - exceeding day limit of 70 mph.
Barry Lee Borgersen, 64, pleaded no contest to permitting swine, sheep, goats to run at large. He was fined $100 and $35 in court costs.
Scott Duncan Bass, 26, pleaded not guilty to negligent endangerment (substantial risk-death/serious injury). He was given a deferred imposition of sentence and fined $500 and $85 in court costs.
Colin Keith Woelk, 40, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing – in no-passing zone.
Larry Edward Reaves, 62, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence - first offense. He was found guilty and fined $400 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended.

Amber Maddalena, 20, pleaded guilty to following too closely – reasonable and prudent. She was fined $20 and $35 in court costs. Maddalena also pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance – first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
Brandon Chase Beekman, 32, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding on non-interstate – exceeding day limit of 70 mph. Beekman also forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Charles William Forgey, 40, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate – exceeding day limit of 70 mph.
Jesse James Castlio, 35, pleaded guilty to hunting or fishing during closed season – large game animal. He was fined $700 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Castlio also pleaded guilty to unlawful possess/ship/transport of game fish/bird/game of furbearing animal – large game restitution value less than or equal to $1000. He was fined $1000 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Andrea J. Hargis, 30, forfeited a $200 fine and $35 in court costs for license, permit or tag offenses – alteration, attachment, loan, transfer license.
Daniel Ryan Greiff, 26, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate – exceeding day limit of 70 mph.
Katherine Nicole Lanser, forfeited a $30 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding – exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Robert Eric Montgomery, 40, forfeited a $30 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding - exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Shana Lea Gillard-Westbrook, 45, forfeited a 20 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding - exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Patrick David Dellwo, 24, pleaded guilty to obstructing justice – charged with a misdemeanor and was fined $335 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Heather Ann Kuntz, 35, forfeited a $40 bond for speeding on non-interstate – exceeding day limit of 70 mph.
Marsha Ann Reum, 63, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation.
Steven Lee Thomas, 24, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $285 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.
Bruce Douglas Thurston, 75, forfeited a $30 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding - exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Gregg G. Baker, 53, forfeited a $50 bond for operating with expired registration – failure to reregister.
Rodney Richard Burley, 51, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect – first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
John Michael Willard, 46, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding - exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Shawn D. Schlensker, 43, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $285 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. Schlensker also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect – second offense. He was fined $350 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.

Mariah Dawn Cheff, 18, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration – failure to reregister.
Erin Kathleen Dougherty, 28, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for speeding - exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Kristen M. Pallant, 32, forfeited a $30 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding - exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit. Pallant also forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation.
Jeannie L. Bays, 47, forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation.
Ollie Marie Clark, 57, forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation.
Rich Duane Lund, 49, forfeited a $30 fine and $35 in court costs for seatbelt violation.
Tone Faialaga, 53, was fined $15 and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration – failure to reregister.
