Editor,
The Thanksgiving weekend stickgame tournament, was again another good run tournament. It was good to see lots of friends, and make new friends. Junior Caye did a lot of hard work to make this all happen again, our hats are off once again to him, and his son who fixed the brackets and made it easy for everyone to see on the big screen. And then went above, and brought in a lot of food to feed all the players. It shows where his culture is from. Always take care of your family and friends, (first).
So as stickgame players, we just thought it should be recognized that he did a great job of putting this together, as this is one of our oldest cultures.
We as Indian People will never lose this game. We travel all over the northwest playing stickgame, and it is always good to go somewhere where you are treated as family.
So we once again take our hat off to you Junior. Great job.
