FLORENCE – The Bulldogs had a tough returning week, falling in two. On Friday Stuart Grant led the Bulldogs’ scoring with 22 points in Florence, but it was not enough to overcome the Falcons, leaving Mission with the 46-59 loss.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs struggled against Bigfork at home, puzzling fans as St. Ignatius fell 38-67. Stuart Grant and Jarred Brown put up 29 points between the two of them — Grant with 15 and Brown with 14 — but Bigfork answered back with a point-filled fury to outscore the Bulldogs in every quarter.
The Bulldogs will host Loyola-Sacred Heart Jan. 9 and Arlee’s Warriors Jan. 11.
