Firecracker runners and walkers finish with a bang

POLSON — Just as the Polson Fourth of July Parade was getting started, runners and walkers finished the 2nd Annual Firecracker 1776 Run or Walk in front of The First Resort on Main Street.
The 1.1 mile run/walk started at 11:40 a.m. at St. Joseph Medical Center with the entire course on Main Street.
Racers donated a non-perishable food item for Polson Loaves and Fish Food Pantry instead of an entry fee. Not all competitors chose to wear number bibs.
Top three female and male finishers were:
