Editor,

Thank you Mr. Bell for including me in your defense of Mr. McClellan’s advice to Republicans. I would also in sincerity thank you for your military service. Your service and the dedicated service of patriots throughout American history formed the foundation that gives all citizens the right to openly voice their opinions. I choose to thank God first for that privilege.

Mr. Bell, as a Marine did you declare an oath of allegiance to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic? I am sure you and all elected officials take the same oath. That oath defines President Obama’s and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s duty and obligation to our country and more importantly our people. I am comfortable in saying citizens who follow the activity of government are alarmed by the failures of this administration.

As to President Obama, I believe that God places in high office the man or men who will serve His purpose. My reference to the Old Testament (1 Samuel Chapter 8) lesson of Israel asking God for a king is more than appropriate. The message is clear: we get what we ask for. If you want high moral standards, unshakable truth, and a promise worth defending, look to God. If you think you can move the world and make all mankind benign through human intellect then “good luck.” I say good luck because that is all you’ll have to work with. With that thought in mind, Mr. Bell, my vapid chants are directed to the sleeping believers of all political parties, who by their silence are allowing the do-gooders to succeed. True charity is from the heart, not the will of dreamers who will gladly impose their visions at other people’s expense. With the help of God, Mr. Bell, I willingly defend my words.
