POLSON — A Lake County Detention officer returned to work on Monday, after he was cleared of being involved with a party where underage drinking occurred.
“I’m confident he was not involved,” Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin said. Shortly after midnight on March 11, Polson police officers were dispatched to a noise complaint at a Polson residence and discovered a number of underage, intoxicated drinkers at the residence.The officer was place on paid administrative leave following the incident.
Yonkin said the detention officer did not participate in the party, which was hosted by a roommate.
