First of all, I want to say congratulations to Saint Ignatius High School junior Spencer Ahlborn for claiming the state singles tennis crown. Way to go, Spencer.
Now I would like to say congratulations to the girls’ softball team for making it all the way to divisionals. Your classmates, fans, parents, and the whole school are all very proud of you. Congratulations to the basketball teams and to the volleyball team for going to divisionals as well.
Now, to the football team – your fans, classmates, parents, and the whole school are all very proud of each and everyone of you for an extraordinary season.
Congratulations to the 38 graduates of Mission High School on your achievements. Now that you have graduated, enjoy the freedom, hang out with your friends, and enjoy your summer vacation, because in the fall all that will change.
I also want to say congratulations to the classes of 2010 at all the other area schools — way to go.
