Freedom and liberty is being stripped away

It is frightening to me the speed with which the present governing body in Washington, DC is stripping us of our personal freedom and liberty and all in the name of knowing what is best for us no matter what we say.
The passage of the Health Care Reform Act is a nail in the coffin of life as we know it. Even if you think that there are many who need health care, this piece of legislation is unconstitutional and requires Americans and businesses to enter a binding contract which violates our personal liberty. It will definitely limit our personal decisions related to our health care. Even if you are not philosophically against the government dictating to you what you must do, then on an economic basis, you should worry about what this will do to further send our country toward bankruptcy.
We hear about Hilary Clinton promising the UN something in relationship to a small arms ban for the United States in complete violation of our Second Amendment rights. Ignoring the Constitution and its Amendments has become common place for our politicians in Washington.
Now Cap and Trade is closing in on us. I am a lover of the environment but unfortunately environmental concerns are used as a cover by our government for taking over more control of our lives and our personal property.
It is possible that under this bill, that here will be a tax on every cow in this county, whether beef or dairy. “Carbon emissions” in the form of methane gas will qualify livestock for a tax bill to their owner. I have heard that cattle ranchers are selling their herds in preparation for the next government power and monetary grab.
I ask, when will everybody wake up and see what is happening? Where will you get your beef and milk and if you can get it, will you be able to afford it? When the government tells you that you are too old for a procedure, what will you do?
Unfortunately, the place that we are in is like when the Jews were taken to the concentration camps by the Nazis and they went silently. Going silently didn’t increase a person’s chance for survival with the Nazi regime and it won’t increase your chances for survival today.
Will you go silently or will you speak up?
