CUT BANK — The Pirates and Lady Pirates enjoyed a weekend of success on the tennis courts at the Cut Bank Invitational Friday and Saturday with the girls winning all four rounds and the boys only dropping one.
Pirates Brady Hislop and Layne Zimmerman and Lady Pirates Mollie Lemm and Shawna Lenz were all undefeated for the weekend playing in both singles and doubles matches.
Day one of the tournament brought Polson to the courts with Havre and Whitefish. The Lady Pirates beat both teams with ease going 4-3 against Havre and 6-1 against Whitefish. The boys took their only loss to Havre 3-4 and then came back to roll over Whitefish 6-1.
On Saturday, the second day of tournament play, both boys and girls came out on top against Lewistown and Cut Bank. The Lady Pirates beat Cut Bank 4-3 and shutout Lewistown 7-0. The Pirates went 5-2 against both teams for the wins.
The Pirates and Lady Pirates will travel to Corvallis April 25.
