Ronan, Mission track teams compete at Seeley-Swan Invite

MISSOULA – Both Ronan and Mission track teams competed at the Seeley-Swan invitational on Saturday. The Chiefs posted a score of 30, placing eighth out of 23, while the Maidens placed 13th out of the 19 teams with a score of 11.5. The Bulldogs put up a score of 6, placing  them in 18th and the Lady Bulldogs came home without placement.

Chiefs Lucas Gerhardt placed second in javelin and third in shot put for Ronan while Connor Benn grabbed third in pole vault and Bryce Cullen also secured a third place in the 110 hurdles while adding a fourth place in long jump. Maiden Aspen Jore finished third in shot put and Ally Buhr placed fourth in the high jump. 

Bulldog Patrick Eichert landed 39’9” for a third place finish in the triple jump.

Next stop for Ronan is the Big Sky Invitational in Missoula May 2 and then on to the Polson-hosted Lake County Invitational May 6. Mission will head to Whitefish May 3.
