Karen Marie Devlin
POLSON – Karen Marie Devlin, 56, “Crux Mea Stella” died of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident east of Ronan, Sunday, May 18, 2014.
Karen was born the seventh of eight children at St. Joseph Hospital in Polson, on May 8, 1958 to Ward and LaVere Devlin, lifelong educators in Polson schools; and who, along with her sister-in-law, have preceded her in death. The accident also claimed the life of her friend, Iva Skelton.
Her 1978-1997 marriage to Michael Jore of Ronan blessed her with surviving children and grandchildren: Marci (Gordon), Taylor, Ashtin, Mataya, Nakoda, Jadafaye; Dacia (Sonny), Kesean, Alliana, Tiffany; and Tiffany (Jamie). She is also survived by her five brothers and two sisters.
Inurnment and gathering o’ the Devlin clan and friends will take place later in the summer. A potluck picnic is planned for Sunday, June 1 at the old golf course in Polson, at 2 p.m. in Boettcher Park. All are welcome.
