Crystal “Chris” Lynn Turpin
RONAN — Crystal “Chris” Lynn Turpin, age 58 and from Ronan, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. After battling cancer for six years, she passed away peacefully at St. Luke Community Hospital, surrounded by family.
She was born on Feb. 20, 1956, to the late Joseph and Hazel Childers. She graduated from Ronan High School in 1974. She married her high school sweetheart, Tony Turpin on April 2, 1975.
Chris loved floating the river, camping, family trips, jeep racing and playing darts.
She leaves behind loving memories of her husband Tony; daughter Mandy Turpin; son Robert (Jackie) Turpin; grandchildren BreAnna Turpin, Joseph Parnell, and Natalia Turpin; brother Steven Childers; sister Bev (Kenny) Burland and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will all miss her dearly.
Chris is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Hazel Childers and father in-law Marion Turpin.
Memorial services have been held. The family requests that memorials be made to: Cheerful Hearts, PO BOX 688, Polson, MT 59860. Shrider-Thompson Funeral and Cremation Services of Ronan is assisting with arrangements.
