Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases April 16-22:

James Houston McKay, 49, pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor assault. He was found guilty, fined $250, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. 

Ronald Lynn Potts, 51, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor criminal mischief. He was found guilty, fined $200, charged $85 in court costs, and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended and 3 days credited for time served. 

David James Hall, 66, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence, first offense and operating a vehicle without liability insurance in effect, first offense. 

He was found guilty, fined $550, charged $120 in court costs and sentenced to 190 days in jail with 189 suspended. 

Julie Suzanne Smith, 40, pleaded guilty to driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, fined $350, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended. 

Alyssa Britt Raser, 23, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid drivers license - expired less than 180 days. She was found guilty, fined $250 and charged $35.

Joette Mershon Stillwell, 48, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - second offense. She was found guilty, fined $250, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 8 suspended. 

Her jail time will be waived if she provides proof of insurance within six months. 

Michael Dean Roullier, 41, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with expired registration - failure to register and failure to carry proof of or exhibit insurance in vehicle - third or subsequent offense. 

He was found guilty, fined $400, charged $70 in court costs and sentence to 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended. 

His jail time will be reduced to 178 days suspended if he proves proof of six continuous months of insurance by Oct. 14. 

Patrick Wayne Hadley, 26, pleaded guilty to partner or family member assault - first offense. He was found guilty, fined $600, charged $85 in court costs, and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 363 days suspended and 2 days credited for time served.
