PABLO — Registration for the Ronan-Pablo Fall Hunter Education course will be Friday, Aug. 22, in Room 116 of the Beaverhead Math & Science building on the Salish Kootenai College campus in Pablo.  Interested students are encouraged to register online now at fwp.mt.gov. Volunteer instructors will teach the Hunters Education Course on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Aug. 27, 28 and 29. All classes will run from 7-9 p.m. each evening.  A mandatory field course is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 30. The test review will be on Tuesday, Sept. 2 and the test will be administered Wednesday, Sept. 3.

All hunter education classes are free of charge and open to hunters and non-hunters alike. Some students take the courses for the firearm safety and outdoor survival information, even if they don’t plan to hunt.
