School Violence Prevention Program Grant

    Polson School District #23 is a public school district located in the Mission Valley of northwest Montana on the Flathead Indian Reservation.  The district services a diverse learning community made up of over 1600 students from northern Lake County in grades pre-K through 12.

Project Goals and Scope of Services:

    The district has partnered with local law enforcement to apply for grant funding through the Department of Justice School Violence and Prevention Program to improve student safety, enhance building security and improve capabilities to coordinate and communicate with local law enforcement agencies. The district is seeking vendors to provide solutions in the following areas of need:

    1) Video Surveillance and Monitoring
    2)Bells, Paging, Intercom, and Clocks

    Proposals should be for a complete turnkey solution that addresses one or both of these areas of need. Proposals should include all installation and maintenance costs and vendors will be expected to perform all duties for a fully functional system.

Site Visits and Additional Information

    The district encourages all vendors to schedule an on-site visit.  All visits should be scheduled at least one week in advance through the IT Department. Building floor- plans and technical documentation including network topology and switching and server hardware information are available upon request.
