Arlee CDC meeting cancelled
ARLEE — The Arlee CDC, which normally meets from 6-9 p.m. the last Monday of each month in the Arlee High School library, will not meet this month.

Arlee Farmers’ Market season kicks off
ARLEE —The Arlee Farmers’ Market season will kick off on Wednesday, May 30. The Market, located in the south parking lot of the Hangin' Art Gallery and in front of the Merc on 93, will be open every Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. from May 30 -Sept. 26. The vendors will not be charged a booth fee. Items sold must be hand-baked, hand-crafted, and locally grown. Used items will not be allowed. No smoking is allowed on market premises.

ARLEE — The last day of school for Arlee School District. School is out at 12:30 p.m.
Friday, June 8
Sacred Heart barbecue replaces bazaar
ARLEE — All are invited to a barbecue at 6:30 p.m. on June 8 at Sacred Heart Mission in Arlee to celebrate the Feast of Sacred Heart. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, and desert for $5 per plate or $20 per family. Come enjoy good food, good company and good memories. This is the only fundraiser that Sacred Heart will have and it takes the place of the bazaar. Please come if you can. Coupons will be available at the barbecue, which are good for one free meal. Fr. Hightower will be cooking.

Join ‘Strengthening Our Families’ hoops event
ARLEE — At 5 p.m. there will be an opening kick-off event at the Arlee Powwow grounds. From 6 p.m. to midnight play midnight hoops. A dinner will be served from 9-10 p.m.
Friday, June 22
Participate in youth conference
ARLEE — A “Strengthening Our Families” Youth Conference will be held on June 22 at the Arlee Powwow grounds. The opening and lunch will be served from noon-1 p.m. and guest speaker Thompson Brothers will give a presentation from 1-2:30 p.m. From 2:30-4:30 p.m. there will be breakout sessions with many activities. Personal stories from “Wrapped in Love” – survivors of suicide will take place. Dinner will be served from 6-7 p.m. and a youth dance hosted by Arlee Youth Connections will take place from 8-11 p.m.

Celebrate sobriety, family fun day
ARLEE — At the Arlee Powwow grounds a lunch including a chili and fry-bread cook-off will take place from noon-1 p.m. Guest presenters Wade McGee & McGee Brothers will host an event from 1-3 p.m. Native games and more will be played from 3-4:30 p.m. There will be a celebration of sobriety and recovery from 4:30-6 p.m. Dinner served 6:15-7:30 p.m.
