'Neither Wolf Nor Dog’ shown in Ronan
RONAN — The Entertainer Theatre is the site for the second movie of the annual Indigenous film series. Set for 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, Neither Wolf Nor Dog tells of author Christopher Sweeney who recounts his travels with Indian elder Dave Bald Eagle through the heart of Lakota country. Children under 13 should be accompanied by an adult.
Gianforte to speak at Lincoln-Reagan dinner
RONAN — The Lake County Republican Central Committee and the Republican Women’s Club invite supporters to the annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner to be held Oct. 14 from 1-4 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center. Keynote speaker for evening will be Greg Gianforte and a silent auction will follow. Tickets cost $25 and include a harvest buffet meal by Vista Linda. RONAN — The Ronan Library District will be open on this third Tuesday of the month of October. The library is generally closed for staff work days on the third Tuesday of the month.

Flathead Irrigation District invites all to meet at RMS Arts Center
RONAN — Flathead Irrigation District invites you to an information meeting on Oct. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ronan Middle School Performing Arts Center. Speakers will be Anna Stradley, senior water master for water court, Ethan Mace, surface water hydrologist for DNRC and Donny Boyd, county commissioner from Klamath Falls. They will share what happens to your community when you lose your water.

Indigenous film series continues in Ronan
RONAN — The Entertainer Theatre is the site for the annual Indigenous film series. Set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, the film ‘Idaho’s Forgotten War’ profiles the courage and faith of 67 Idaho Kootenai people and the extraordinary Kootenai woman, Amy Trice, who declared war on the United States government in 1974 to save her people.
