Sandpiper's new exhibit features new artists from 8/23 to 9/30

POLSON — From Aug. 23-Sept. 30, the exhibit “Fresh Perspective” will feature new Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery artists Barbara Shrider (watercolor), Mark Sherman (raku pottery), Denise Zemke (stained glass), Gail Trenfield (watercolor/ photography), and long-time member artist Joanne Simpson (watercolor batik) and invited oil painter and pastel artist Helen Siemers. Celebrate Recovery ministers to anyone

POLSON — Celebrate Recovery Ministry takes place at Polson Foursquare on Sundays between 5-8 p.m.

All are welcome to join us each Sunday evening. CR is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery ministry for anyone with hurts, habits or hang-ups. The evening starts off with dinner followed by a teaching and discussion groups with coffee/dessert. Childcare is available. Montecahto Club invites new members
 
POLSON — The Montecahto Club meets the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. We are a social and service organization and sponsor a scholarship for a graduating senior, cook and serve lunch at “Soup’s On,” collect for the Food Bank, send Care packages to the overseas troops and help out wherever we can. We welcome new members. Come to a meeting and get to know us.

Annual Thanksgiving dinner needs helpers, donations

RONAN — The tenth annual Ronan Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be on Thursday, Nov. 28, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center. Festivities for the day include entertainment and a traditional turkey dinner. Volunteers are needed to help serve, cook, buss and clean up. Turkeys, pies, and rolls, are also needed. Call Cheri Houle at (406) 249-3184 to donate food and Brandy Chisholm at (406) 676-3300 to volunteer some time. Donations will gladly be accepted at the door or may be sent to Ronan Community Volunteers, PO Box 751 Pablo, MT 59855.

Quilters to exchange gifts
