Indian education mid-year report given
RONAN — The Indian education mid-year report’s data and information will be presented on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 6-8 p.m. in the Ronan High School library. Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer feedback.
Softball signups scheduled
RONAN – The Ronan-Pablo Youth Softball Association will conduct girls’ softball signups on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Ronan Middle School. Those interested in coaching or volunteering or who have questions should call Sandra Wirz at 406-203-2850 or Jennie Youngren at 406- 360-8051.

Mission Valley Rises meets
RONAN — The next meeting of Mission Valley Rises: Democracy Engaged! will take place on Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Safe Harbor office on Highway 93. Please remember to bring nutritious snacks, as we are meeting over the dinner hour. We will need a volunteer to lead the meeting.

Help RHS Close Up get to Washington, New York
RONAN — Ronan High School’s Close Up group will host a local yard sale/flea market in the gym at Ronan High School on Saturday, March 2, from 9 a.m.– 2 p.m. RHS seniors are raising funds to go to Washington D.C. and New York to see first-hand how our government works. There will baked goods, furniture, and many products for sale. We would love to see you there.

Hear legislative update
RONAN — The community will have an opportunity to hear a legislative update on March 5 at the Boys and Girls Club in Ronan at 7 p.m. Greg Hertz, Dan Salomon and Joe Read will present key updates and answer questions about upcoming bills. This event is a cooperative effort by the Lake County Republican Central Committee, Democratic Central Committee, Mission Valley Rises, Pachyderm and the Northwest Counties Farm Bureau. Horsemen discuss Dutch oven cooking
RONAN — Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their next monthly meeting on March 5 at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW on Round Butte Road. This month’s program will be on Dutch oven cooking presented by Connie Long. Mack and Connie Long live in Charlo and own Bob Marshall Wilderness Outfitters. Come and enjoy the camaraderie of this organization who enjoy all types of horse related activities. As always, the public is encouraged to attend and we hope to see you there.
Quilters meet, offer class
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will meet on Tuesday, March 5, at the Terrace Lake Community Church at 6:30 p.m. Prior to the meeting refreshments will be served. Also, before the meeting, a machine maintenance class will be presented from 4-6 p.m. Bring your machines, accessories, and tools, etc. See Kay’s supply list.

‘Family Math, Science Night’ returns to KWH
RONAN — On March 7 from 5-7 p.m. at K. William Harvey Elementary join us for Family Science/Math Night. Again this year there will be activities and fun for all ages. SpectrUM will join us again this year, along with many others. Make sure you check out the math games and get your free math game toolbox so you can play your math games at home. Attend Woman’s Club’s annual arts and crafts fair
RONAN — The Ronan Woman’s Club would like to thank the community for their years of support at their annual arts and crafts fair. This year’s fair will be held at the Ronan Community Center on March 9 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Plan to make a day of it. Invite a friend, check out our vendors, the silent auction, and don’t forget about lunch … fry bread, Indian tacos, soup and sandwiches available for a small fee. Enjoy detectives in RHS play
RONAN — Be prepared for lots of fun as the Ronan High School Drama Department presents a performance of the play, “A Lighter Shade of Noir.” General admission tickets only will be sold at the door the evening of the plays. Cost for adults will be $3 and $2 for students. This performance will be presented at the Ronan Performing Arts Center on Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15, at 7 p.m.

Participate in 30th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
RONAN — The 30th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held in Ronan on March 17 at 2 p.m. Be ready to show your true Irish toughness by participating this year in the rather inclement weather. Entrants should line up at 1:45 p.m. west of the hospital. TRIC (The Ronan Irish Community) appreciates all the past participation and is looking forward to another fun Irish celebration. Headquarters will be located again at the Second Chance Saloon following the parade. Get your Irish on and let’s have some fun.
