Airport Board calls for discussion meeting
RONAN —An “Alternatives Discussion Meeting” for the Ronan Airport Master Plan will take place at the Ronan Airport in the CSKT Firebase meeting room on Feb. 28, at 5 p.m. and should last an hour and a half ending at approximately 6:30 p.m. We will discuss the airport master planning process to-date, with a focus on the alternative development for the airport. Signups for summer baseball scheduled
RONAN — Ronan/Pablo Summer Recreation Baseball signups for 2017 will take place on March 2 and March 8 from 5:15-6:45 p.m. at the Ronan Event Center in the commons area. These sign-up opportunities are for children 5-15 years old.

Give blood during Red Cross Month
RONAN — During Red Cross Month in March, the American Red Cross encourages eligible donors to join in its lifesaving mission by giving blood. Since 1943, every U.S. president has designated March as Red Cross Month to recognize how the Red Cross helps people across the country and around the world. You can give blood in Ronan on March 3 from 1-6 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Franklin Street and Fourth Ave E. Make an appointment by calling 1-800-733-2767.
Sign-up for Dodge-ball tourney
RONAN — Ronan spring sports teams will host a Dodge-ball tournament beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the old high school gym on Friday, March 3. Everyone in the community is invited to put together a team or come enjoy watching the competitors battle it out. Tickets are available at the door and concessions will be available. Team registration is $60 for a six-person team and you need to contact Brian Labbe at: brian.labbe@ronank12.edu.

RONAN — The Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their next monthly meeting on March 7, at 7:30 p.m. at the VFW on Round Butte Road. There will be no program, as we will be having our discussion about our up and coming state convention on March 24, 25, and 26 at the Kwa-TaqNuk Resort in Polson. Hope to see you at our next meeting.

RONAN — The Mission Valley Children’s Choir and the Ronan Adult Choir will present concerts on Sunday, March 12. The Children’s Choir will begin at 3 p.m. and the Adult Choir Concert will begin at 3:30 p.m. Both concerts will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church, 406 Fifth Ave. SW.

Community picnic supports CFAC
RONAN — The Community Food and Agriculture Coalition seeks your support by coming to the 44 Bar and Outwest Grill for $2 Tuesdays on March 14 from 6-7:30 p.m. We’re hosting a Local Food for All - A Community picnic in May that supports local food access at farmers’ markets. A $10 donation supports this event and gets you a free beer on the house and an evening of good company. There are over 25 Montana beers on tap.
