POLSON — The third annual “Sorry Bout That Half Marathon and Team Relay” will take place on Saturday, Jan. 13. Entry fee for the race is $33 dollars until Jan. 1, 2018, and. includes a T-shirt, a race medal, chili and coffee. Adult coloring offered
POLSON — Let’s have some fun before the snowmen melt away. Join us Jan. 17, from 2-4 p.m. (one session only) at the North Lake County Public Library for an Adult Coloring Program. This month’s theme is “Achromatic” (which means having no hue). The library will provide coloring projects and all supplies. You are also welcome to bring your own. Hot cocoa will be served.

Fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics
POLSON —Kiwanis will hold a fundraiser on Jan. 18, from 5-8 p.m. at Glacier Brewery to benefit the Special Olympics. Taco soup will be provided and Glacier Brewery is donating part of the proceeds of the sales to the Special Olympics.

Kiwanis Club to meet
POLSON — The Kiwanis Club meet the first and third Thursday of each month at the KwaTaqNuk Resort in the Koostatah room from noon-1 p.m. Our speaker on Jan. 18 will be Brett Rigler from Edward Jones who will talk about the market in general and be available to answer questions. Later in the day the Kiwanis will hold a fundraiser for the Special Olympics from 5-8 p.m. at the Glacier Brewery. Everyone is welcome at both events.
Learn about women’s financial considerations
RONAN — Lake County Community Development is the site of the workshop, “Take Control of your Financial Future: Master Five Money Questions for Women.” The workshop is on Thursday, Jan. 18, at noon. Jacob Baumman from Edward Jones will discuss the different financial strategies women have from men. This workshop is brought to you by the Mission Valley Subnetwork of the Missoula Businesswoman’s Network.

RONAN — Pavlo will provide Mediterranean music with a blend of Greek, Flamenco, and Latin flavor on Jan. 19 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Tickets are $13 in advance or purchase for $15 at the door. College students are $5 and youth 18 years and under are free.
