‘Wylie and The Wild West’ to perform
POLSON — On Jan. 18, at 7 p.m. in the Polson High School Auditorium, “Wylie and the Wild West,” known internationally for their captivating presentation of original and traditional music of America will perform. Wylie is a gifted singer, songwriter, rancher, horseman, and world-famous yodeler. Tickets are $13 dollars advance purchase and $15 at the door. Fundraiser held for Mary Rensvold
POLSON — Join in a dinner and auction fundraiser for Mary Rensvold who is battling stage 2B breast cancer. The event takes place on Friday, Jan. 18, at the Polson Elks. A no-host bar begins at 6 p.m.; dinner will be served at 7 p.m. and a live auction will start at 8 p.m. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased at the Polson Elks Lodge, First Interstate Bank, Sweet Bliss, Flathead Coffee Company or by calling Lynn DuCharme at 406-270-2120 or Shelley Croft at 406-250-9060. Ronan Schools announce adult ed deadline
RONAN — Ronan School District No. 30’s Adult Education Program is seeking instructors for the winter 2019 session. This is a perfect opportunity to share your hobbies or skills with the community. The session will run Monday-Thursday for nine weeks from Feb. 11-April 4. No classes will be held on select days due to the school calendar. Instructors will be compensated $25 per hour for time spent teaching. PSA holds membership meeting, dinner
POLSON — The Polson Shooters Association will hold their annual membership meeting and dinner on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at the Polson VFW.
Social time with a nohost bar begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
The menu includes spaghetti with green salad and garlic bread and red or white wine. Dinner is $5 per person or free with new membership or renewal of membership at the door.

POLSON — The Cowboy Country and the Gold Dust Girls will again perform at the Elks ballroom in Polson on Friday, Jan. 25, from 6-9 p.m. This is the same seven-piece band that was very well received when they played here last summer. The cover charge will be $5 per person.
Library begins monthly movie night

Kids’ Winter Wonder Workshop held
BIGFORK — Montana State Parks and Flathead Lake State Park invite you to embrace the cold at the Flathead Lake State Park – Wayfarers Unit, 8600 Highway 35, Bigfork, (meet at the picnic shelter in the Harry Horn Day Use Area) on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 1-2:30 p.m. During this 1.5-hour Winter Wonder Workshop ranger-led program participants will explore winter ecology through a variety of hands-on activities and learn how to safely enjoy winter weather. All are welcome, but this program is intended for elementary-aged children. Participants should come prepared to be outside in cold weather for the duration of the program. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Cost is $4 per participant or $10 per family. Advanced registration is encouraged. Lamb of God practices begin
IGNATIUS/MISSOULA — Lamb of God will hold their first choir and orchestra practice on Jan. 26. Choir practice will take place at the St. Ignatius Mission from 10 a.m.-noon. Head Coach Bobby Hauck, along with his assistants and athletic department representatives, will join us for a brief signing day-visit on their way north. They will discuss the new signees and future expectations for the 2019 football season. Light refreshments will be served and it will be a fun fan event. Introductory Zen meditation class offered
