Cinemafest returns to Polson
POLSON — The Flathead Lake International Cinemafest is scheduled for Jan. 23-25, 2015, in Polson.
Break out the special eyeglasses or shades for the festival kick-off, a “Spectacular Spectacle” themed opening party, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23, at the KwaTaqNuk Resort. Film screenings begin at 8 p.m., Friday at the Showboat Cinemas and continue through Sunday, Jan. 25, with an awards/closing party. The three-day program includes film screenings of domestic and international features, shorts and documentaries of all genres.

Dinner, games planned in Big Arm
BIG ARM — The Big Arm Association is holding their January Potluck at the historic Big Arm School on Friday, Jan. 23. Please bring one of your favorite dishes to share. We will begin eating at 6 p.m. After dinner we will have game night. Bring your favorite board game, card game, Scrabble, cribbage boards, etc. to play with others. We will all come out winners at the end of the night by having a delicious meal and having lots of fun playing games, and maybe making a new friend or two. NARC growers set meeting date
CRESTON – Local farmers are welcome to attend the annual growers' meeting at the Northwestern Agricultural Research Center, located at 4570 Highway 35 in Creston. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 23. Seating is limited so RSVP (406) 755-4303 by Friday, Jan. 16. Seminars cover such topics as irrigation and fertilization scheduling, pest management, and crop productivity.
