Students 13-18 are free. Students under the age of 13 are free but must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets may be purchased prior to the day of a performance for $13 in Polson at the Perfect Shot and First Interstate Bank and in Ronan at True Value Hardware. POLSON — The North Lake County Public Library will host ukulele musicians Amy Knutson and Arlee Freemole on Friday, Oct. 7, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The ukulele is a wooden stringed instrument that is guitar-like in appearance. Associated with Hawaiian music, the name ukulele means “jumping flea” because of the appearance of the fingers on its strings. Who better to demonstrate this technique than local musicians, friends and comedians Amy Knutson and Arlee Freemole. Join us in the library atrium. Good music and fun are guaranteed.
